Many congratulations to Mary Hendry from Lesmahagow who celebrated her 100th Birthday on 5th January 2025.
And visiting Mary the next day Provost Margaret Cooper and Vice-Lord Lieutenant Gavin Whitefield CBE heard all about her life over the last hundred years.
The Provost presented Mary with flowers and a certificate from South Lanarkshire Council whilst Vice Lord-Lieutenant ,Gavin Whitefield CBE passed on congratulations from the Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire, Lady Haughey CBE .
